- The 13th Chinese National Games
The 13th Chinese National Games, known as China's mini-Olympics, will be the most tested version of the national sports
gala, a senior official from the organizing committee said on Wednesday.
The 13th National Games will kick off this Sunday and go through to Sept. 8 in northern city of Tianjin.
The National Games, inaugurated in 1959, drew teams from all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
According to the organizing committee, the 13th event has attracted 10,217 athletes to participate in 33 sports and
417 events.

The 19th CPC National Congress, a major event in the political life of the Party and the state, will be held in Beijing in the
second half of 2017.
A total of 109 delegates were elected to attend the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC)
at a two-day party conference ended Wednesday.
They were elected at a conference of the agencies directly under the CPC Central Committee.
The delegates include leading cadres, female party members and party members from ethnic minorities.
The 19th CPC National Congress, a major event in the political life of the Party and the state, will be held in Beijing in the
second half of 2017.A total of 2,300 delegates will be elected by 40 electoral units from across the country.
