    The advantages of these serises of nylon are as below:

    1.Absorbent is lower than PA6, while a higher dimension stability and other physical property.
    2.An excellent chemical resistance, performs as good as daicel, much better than PA6 and PA66.
    3.A good thermal stability and a higher heat deflection temperature
    4.Improved the processability. Lower water absorption, the drying temperature before processing only need 80℃ for 5 huors,which is 5%--10% lower than PA6

  • Processing Technique
    The pre - drying treatment of the material

    Nylon has the character of moisture absorbing, while if the liquid water content is inordinate the material will break down. Therefore, before processing the liquid water content must below 0.2%. Our nylon packed in moisture – proof bags, can directly do injection molding, but if necessary, all the material can be delt with in the drying equipment at 90℃, time will be set according to the liquid water content, usually we need 4 to 8 hours.

  • The Hygroscopic Processing of Injection Products

    In order to guarantee the dimensional stability of the article , we must do heat treatment and the humidity conditioning treatment to the products.

    Internal stress will occur if the flow of cooling too quickly or melt the nylon products demould . The elimination of the internal stress is to do heat treatment to the products . Usually the heat treatment temperature should be higher 10-20 ° C than the products using temperature , the heat treatment time may vary depending on the product thickness , thickness less than 3mm takes about 10-15min, 3 -6mm , the processing time is 15 -30min ; to thick products, the processing time is about 6-24h, after processing it is good to let the product cool down naturally . For those use in the water or big humidity nylon should do humidifying treatment. The article will be placed in a relative humidity of 65 % to achieve the required humidity process . The temperature should keep 80-100 ℃, the processing time takes for 8- 16 hours.

  • Recommended Injection Molding Process

    The process conditions depends on the characteristics of the machine size , screw design , mold design . The following settings will guide you to get a good quality of products.

    The PA6 products molding process

    While settings PA6 injection molding , depending on the thickness of different articles ,structure , molding equipment , and the process parameters should be appropriately adjusted . the temperature gap between the glass fiber reinforced PA6 and pure PA6 should be10-25℃, in order to improve its flowability ; modulus temperature should be appropriately increased to ensure the smoothness of the article ; processing temperature of retardant PA6 should be as low as possible , in order to make sure the flame-retardant effect.

  • PA66 Products Molding Process

    Prominent feature of PA66 is the high melting point and its narrow processing temperature control range, about 10 ℃ ; in addition, PA66 melt easily hydrolyzed , leading to the decrease of the hydraulic performance easily , therefore, the water content must be strictly controlled .

    Drying PA66 will change yellow susceptible to thermal oxidation, in order to avoid high - temperature oxidation, we should heat and dry under vacuum .Its drying temperature is 85 ° C, to set drying time , according to the moisture content in l 5 -8hours.

    In the process of molding injection, injection molding machines , as well as the setting of the mold temperature has a great influence on the products . The control range of PA66 processing temperature is relatively narrow , the barrel temperature should be higher. In addition , due to the high melting of PA66 , mold temperature should be raised, and if the melt become cool too fast , the article will generate internal stress.

    For glass fiber reinforced PA66, mobility will be decreased due to the addition of glass fiber , according to the level of the glass content , we should increase the processing temperature appropriately, generally speaking, the temperature should be 10-30 ℃ higher than pure PA66 ,but the processing temperature should not higher than 280-300 ° C , otherwise , it is easy to cause thermal degradation of PA66 .

    For flame retardant reinforced PA66 , an appropriate processing temperature should find which is near PA66 melting point, if the processing temperature is too high , it will cause the decomposition of the flame retardant which will lead to a bad effect to the flame retardant, resulting to the defects of article surface frost and patterns.

    For inorganic filling PA66 , due to the poor mobility of the filler, we should increase in the processing temperature . Meanwhile, in order to reduce the processing temperature we can also consider to add lubricants to improve the PA66 fluidity, to improve its fluidity during processing.
